iPad – The Easiest Computer to Learn
iPad – The Easiest Computer to Learn
Are you smarter than a two year old? Okay, “smartness” is relative to age, so that’s probably not fair on two year olds around the world, but let’s put it another way – if a two year old can learn to do something in five minutes and twenty eight seconds, how would you rate your own chances? You’re right in thinking that if a two year old can manage, it should be a piece of cake for you – right? Okay, so now that we’ve got that sorted out, watch this video clip at how quickly a two year old mastered one of the latest and most popular gadgets in the world today – the Apple iPad.
What did you think of that? Appleis the maker of the iPad (not the same apple which makes the pies you understand) and they’ve done a pretty good job of it don’t you think. The iPad is an absolute piece of cake/pie/cookie, whatever you fancy – and anybody can learn to use one without any trouble at all. Even if you’re the most ungadgety person in the whole wide world, which is, by the way, impossible because she already lives at our house – then you’ll soon master the Apple iPad.
It’s all touch screen, you don’t even have to press any buttons – just point at the right bit and off you go. You access the screen of the iPad by sliding your finger along to unlock it, the same as with an iPhone. You can easily learn to access pictures and pages, and when you enable any of the countless apps they will go to full screen automatically – you might not even need to reach for your specs!
Surfing the internet is easy peasy on the iPad too. The page is just like on any other browser, with navigation buttons across the top and a pull-down menu of your inbox makes checking emails as easy as falling off a log – not sure where that analogy came from! If you need the keyboard it just uses up the bottom half of the display, so that you can easily see what you’re writing on the top. You don’t even need to use your thumbs like all of that texting business, it’s QWERTY so it’s just like a regular laptop, desk top or even typewriter! If you want to use the keyboard a lot, and don’t necessarily need to travel far with your iPad, then you can get a full sized keyboard to add-on.
Go on, give it a to. Even if you’re a little computer illiterate, the Apple iPad is a very good place to start learning – as you may have guessed by now.
